Last week was a successful week for Perry.  They won 2 conference games.  2-1 over Nevada and 3-2 against Greene County.  The wins allowed the Bluejays to win the Heart of Iowa Conference and move into the 6th spot in the 2A polls.  Coach Overla on winning conference: “It is nice.  This year we won it outright after sharing it in 2022.”  He also mentioned their spot in the IAHSAA polls. “The kids love it.  They pay a lot of attention to it.  It is nice for the recognition.”

Perry travels to Knoxville tonight for a non-conference game.  Action begins at 7:30P.
