The eight member schools of the Heart of Iowa Conference will convene in Jewell on Thursday.  The competition will be stiff as the coed meet will declare conference champions.  Boys Track Coach, Shaylena Belll, on the preparation: “For the rest of  the week we’re gonna do some speed work to get a last couple tough days in.”  Owen Myers previews to be the top Bluejay to win a conference crown.  Nevada and PCM are previewed to be the top two in the team competition.

This will be the final meet until Districts, which begin on Thursday, May 9th.  Perry is assigned to the North Polk Regional this year.
