There are two big events this week at the Stuart Public Library.

Librarian Mary McColloch mentions that for the grant the library received from the American Library Association’s Transforming Communities program, they will be holding a Community Roundtable. She says that they will be discussing with community members about different ways the grant could be used to help patrons with disabilities. McColloch explains that while many disabilities are noticeable, there are just as many that aren’t. The discussion will begin at 2pm tomorrow, and will be held in the library meeting room.

The second event that they’ll be hosting will be to celebrate May the 4th on Saturday, an unofficial holiday related to Star Wars. The library will be holding a Star Wars themed Bingo from 10-11am for free, with the community invited to participate. There will also be some Star Wars themed prizes to win.
