The Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is setting things in motion for County and State Fair time.

After a few workshops over the weekend, the Extension now has buckets for their buckets of junk event available for pick up. These are a first come first serve item, as there were only 25 buckets available at the beginning of pick up. Extension Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage mentions that each of the five gallon buckets is filled with random pieces of metal and materials to be used by individuals to construct something completely new and unique. Not all the material has to be used though, and unused materials along with the bucket can be returned at a later date.
