The Adel Public Library is hosting a Family Superhero Party on Saturday.

The library is inviting families to dress up in their favorite superhero costumes Saturday morning from 9:30-11:30am. The program features superhero crafts, snacks, a scavenger hunt, plus some superhero themed training activities. Patron Services Manager Amy Pucks realizes the day coincides with Star Wars Day and encourages attendees to sport their favorite character.

“We are going to focus on superheroes but Star Wars is always welcome and we consider them superheroes as well.”

Puck recommends wearing a costume but emphasizes that they are not required to participate in the activities. The program on Saturday will be held in the library’s community room. Additional questions can be directed to the Adel Library at (515)-993-3512.
