Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District Superintendent Greg Dufoe recognizes local staff members during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

Teachers do a lot of great work in the communities they serve and Dufoe understands that the ADM School District is blessed to have the leaders they do. He calls teachers the “backbone” of the school system and is grateful to be seeing results after setting standards to provide the best academic success possible for students.

“That’s why we exist, and our teachers are getting results and we’re just really excited about that. This is a great week to honor them due to the results that they are getting. They’re just a really special group and I couldn’t be more proud to work with them.”

Dufoe exemplifies the recent accomplishment that the high school was ranked as the seventh best in the state according to the U.S. News & World Report, and remarks that it speaks to the overall system that the school district has in place leading to better learning results for students.
