The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board approved the payroll change notices for Ben Kingery as a part-time jailer and Brooke Halterman as a seasonal employee for environmental health. They also discussed with juvenile court officers on a potential space for them to use to meet with clients, and agreed to talk with the Department of Corrections Officer on sharing their office space.

The Board also heard from Health Services Director Jotham Arber on a new report system that the transfer station, public and environmental health departments would be using, submitting reports to the Board quarterly. He added that immunizations were up and that they’d done some school clinics. Arber also mentioned that for mental health, they had increased the workload, and were looking to open an office in Stuart, which would bring the need for a second physician.

Human Resources Director Jamie Lindsay shared with the Board that the website for County employees to open enroll for health insurance and benefits has gone live, and that at the time 12 individuals had already done so. The Board then approved to adopt the multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan.
