The Perry Middle School is set to participate in an annual program tomorrow that will help 20,000 people.

Meals from the Heartland is coming back to the middle school tomorrow to partner with the eighth grade students to pack meals for people. Perry Middle School Teacher Chris Marks tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the idea began last year after the school collaborated with Raccoon Valley Bank to deliver 20,000 meals.

“We bring Meals from the Heartland here to Perry, and our eighth graders go down to the gym and we pack these 20,000 meals thanks to Radio Valley sponsorships.”

The event will take place tomorrow at the middle school gym as the students, along with Raccoon Valley Bank employees, will arrive at 1pm to pack 20,000 meals for the Meals From the Heartland organization.
