Greene County ended its 2024 high school boys’ golf season at Whispering Woods Golf Course in Council Bluffs on Wednesday. Coach Kyle Kinne’s Rams placed fourth among among eight teams in a Class 3A Sectional tournament with an 18 hole score of 329. ADM, and Atlantic went one-two and moved on, with Winterset third.

Senior Jack Hansen shot 75 and missed advancing to the District Tournament in Atlantic on Monday by one stroke. Coach Kyle Kinne told Raccoon Valley Radio Hansen had a putt lip out on his last hole, Sophomore Carter Hinote shot 83 for his best 18 hole round as a Ram. Senior Nathan Behne also shot 83 with sophomore Nathan Towers recorded an 88.
