The AC/GC Chargers are taking the Iowa State Track Meet by storm.
The boys are sending a record breaking 13 events to compete, with the girls sending four of their own. Not only that, the boys won their district meet, a feat they repeated from last year. Events where the Chargers rank in the top three include Ava Campbell in the 800 meter and 1500 meter runs, ranked 2nd and 1st respectively for the girls.
For the boys, the 4X100 meter relay team is ranked 3rd, the 4X200 meter relay team is ranked 2nd, the shuttle hurdle relay team is ranked 2nd, and Lance Bunde is ranked 1st in the high jump. The Iowa State High School Track Meet takes place at Drake Stadium, and lasts from May 16th to 18th.
