Postseason assignments have been released for girls soccer.  Perry has found out their draw.  The Jayettes will travel to Boone for their opening round game.  That contest will be held on May 17th.  The Jayettes got the 5 seed while Boone is the 4 seed.

Perry just saw Boone on last Monday, May 6th.  Boone won that contest 6-2.  When the seedings were released, Perry was 3-10 and Boone was 5-7.  The Jayettes hosted the original matchup, but will have to travel for the Regional game.  The winner will see the top seed in the region, North Polk.  The Comets are ranked as the second best team in the 2A polls.  The 2 seed went to Spencer and they will play the winner of the 3/6 matchup Spirit Lake and Storm Lake.

The Jayettes are coming off a 2-1 victory as they topped Des Moines Hoover yesterday.  Kate Erickson led Perry to victory with both goals.  They still have one regular season game to play.  Perry will host Des Moines North tomorrow night.
