The schools of Guthrie County are well represented for the State Track Meet, which starts today.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center is sending a combined 17 events between the boys and girls teams, with Panorama sending 12 events, and West Central Valley Competing in seven. Between the three schools, there are six events with competitors ranked first, four with athletes ranked second, and one third place ranking.

For AC/GC, first place rankings come from Ava Campbell in the 800 meter run and Lance Bunde in the high jump. Those ranked second for the school are Ava Campbell in the 1600 meter run, along with the boys 4X200 and shuttle hurdle relays. The third place ranking also comes from AC/GC, with the 4X100 meter relay team.

For Panorama, Jaidyn Sellers ranks first in all four of her events, the 100 and 200 meter dashes, 400 meter run and high jump. West Central Valley’s Landon Osberg is ranked second in the long jump.
