
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track & Field team competed in the state track meet in Des Moines, with a relay team breaking an Iowa record.
The ADM Boys 4×200 meter team raced to an Iowa All-Time record of 1:25.55, winning the event to become state champions. The Tigers beat out Spencer, Grinnell, Clear Lake, North Polk, and the rest of the field to accomplish the brand new record. The runners that were apart of the incredible feat are all seniors: Aiden Flora, Grant Rychnovsky, Zach Lohmann, and Brevin Doll.
For the girls, Junior London Warmuth captured her second consecutive title in the high jump with a height of 5’8”. Warmuth has had a nice consistent season this year and Head Coach Bart Mueller has spoken with Raccoon Valley Radio about her growth during the season. ADM has more athletes participating in the state meet today and RVR will have live reports throughout the day.
