The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School Track & Field teams competed phenomenally over the weekend in Des Moines as both the boys and girls teams finished first in several events.

The girls team scored a total of 48 points as they beat approximately 40 other teams to be named the Class 3A Champions. Some of the performances include Junior London Warmuth winning the high jump and the 4×100 shuttle hurdle team that also picked up a new school record of 1:04.20.

On the boys side, the Tigers achieved not only a new school record, but are owners of two All-Time State Records in the 4×100 (41.90) and 4×200 (1:25.55) meter relays.

In the individual events, Brevin Doll finished first in the open 100. The Tigers were one point shy of becoming Class 3A Champs as they scored 71 with Western Dubuque racking up 72.
