The May Panorama School Board meeting brought a great deal of good news to the Board members.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that there are many things that the district can be happy about and celebrate. He shares that one of the teachers will be able to have a great experience in the nation’s capitol.

“Mrs. Dorhout, she’s our middle school language arts teacher, she will spend a week in Washington D.C. presenting at the Belfer Conference for Holocaust Educators. So that’s a heck of an achievement for her. So we’re excited that she gets to (have) that experience.”

Huebner continues, saying that they also have a student who will be taking part in an international geography bee. He mentions that Parker Meyers competed in a regional competition, and will now be heading to Vienna, Austria in July. Huebner explains that spring sports has also done well, with good postseason performances from the girls soccer team, boys golf team, and both track teams.
