After being weathered out of scheduled high school baseball and softball games last night vs. Nodaway Valley in Greenfield, the Greene County teams play in Jewell tonight vs. South Hamilton. Both Greene County varsity squads are 0-1 and both are looking for their first runs scored of the season.

Coach Kyle Stalder’s baseball Rams haven’t played since a May 13 road loss to Denison-Schleswig by a 4-0 final. Coach Tom Kennedy’s softball Rams opened the season on Monday with a 10-0 loss in six innings to PCM in Monroe.

The Hawks are 1-1 in baseball and 0-1 in softball. South Hamilton has a 22-5 win in baseball vs. Panorama and a 10-0 loss to Saydel. The SH softball program lost to Saydel on Monday, 12-0 in four innings.
