The National Weather Service has completed their initial survey of the damage from the tornado that crashed through Greenfield May 21st.

It has been confirmed that the tornado was at least an EF-3 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, though additional damage evaluation in the coming days makes that ranking subject to change. An EF-3 storm is one that comes with winds that reach speeds of at least 136 to 165 mph. The Iowa Department of Public Safety also made an announcement, with the official death and injury count from the disaster. Four confirmed fatalities, and at least 35 injuries were reported, though the injury count may be higher.
