3:55pm: The Sheriff, deputies, and the Jefferson Police Department assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of East Mckinley Street, Jefferson.

5:01pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 200 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction.

7:31pm: A deputy assisted the City of Grand Junction with traffic control near an open manhole on 14th Street near Elizabeth Street.

11:22pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call near Eaton Avenue and 195th Lane.

Thursday, May 23rd

1:12am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

9:06am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 600 block of Dudley Street, Churdan.

12:12pm: A deputy investigated an illegal dumping complaint on 185th Street near U Avenue.

3:28pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1500 block of 320th Street.

3:40pm: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on 190th Street near J Avenue. Kenneth Bonnette 37 of Scranton was arrested for operating without an interlock device, fraudulent use of registration, driving while under suspension, and no financial liability.

Friday, May 24th

12:50am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on U Avenue near 150 th Street. David Hauber 19 of Ames struck a deer with a 2015 Chevrolet Express Van. The estimated damage to the van is 4,000 dollars.

4:58am: The Sheriff and a deputy investigated an alarm in the 700 block of South 14th Street, Grand Junction.

5:15am: The Sheriff removed storm debris from the roadway on W Avenue near 250th Street.

5:36am: The Sheriff and a deputy replaced the construction stop lights that were blown over on 130th Street near V Avenue.

5:45am: The Sheriff assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a tree across the roadway in the 100 block of 130th Street in Boone County.

8:23am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle leaving Rippey on U Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
