The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will start with a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the current fiscal year budget, with the Council to consider approving the amendments following the hearing. The Council will then have another public hearing on the plans and specifications, form of contract and cost estimate for the pickleball court project at Russell Park, with the Council to consider approving the resolution for that after the hearing.

Additionally, the Council will consider for approval a resolution to propose selling three city-owned lots to a developer, Origin Homes, and set the public hearings. They will also consider approving an alley lease agreement between the Sierra Community Theater and the soon to be Courtyard on State Street, a resolution for a gas pipeline easement extension for Alliant Energy, the final schedule for assessments on nuisance abatements for 2023, a resolution to remove a street light on East Washington Street, changing a job title for city staff member Sarah Morlan, the first reading to amend an ordinance for city treasurer and consider waiving the second and third readingS, and the third reading to amend an ordinance for recycling. 

The Council will also consider approving the sixth pay estimate for the airport hangar project, the 15th pay estimate for the Wastewater Treatment Plant improvement project, and a quarterly funding request fROM Greene County Development Corporation.
