The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer team completed their season on May 23rd as they fell short to Pella in the Class 2A Region 5 Championship.

The Tigers finished the 2024 season with a 9-8 overall record (6-2 inside the Raccoon River Conference) in third behind Gilbert and North Polk. This season, Junior Jada Grove led ADM in goals scored with 23, followed by Senior Helen Kirk at 10, and Sophomore Haley James’ seven. Senior Marissa Gerleman had the best shot on goal percentage (50%). ADM’s goalkeeping was done by Juniors Kathryn Ransom and Alayna Freeman. Ransom allowed four goals and had 28 saves, while Freeman allowed 26 goals, but managed to save 113.

The Tigers graduate Kirk, Gerleman, Sydney Kuhse, Jordis Ichelson, Brooklyn Bailey, and Hope Denevi.
