The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team won against conference opponent Ballard Thursday night after going nine innings.

The Tigers won their fifth game of the 2024 season after beating the Bombers 6-1 on the road. The win looked convincing but ADM grabbed the lead in the top of the sixth inning, before Ballard responded in the bottom to tie the game 1-1. The game went past the regular seven innings, and it was in the ninth were the Tigers scored five runs to separate themselves and ultimately win 6-1. ADM was led by Cameron Smith, who had three hits with Lauren Hagedorn striking out 12 batters.
The Tigers are now 5-3 on the season (3-1 inside the Raccoon River Conference). ADM will be back on the road tonight for a non-conference matchup against Van Meter, set for a 7:15pm start.
