The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team prepares for their 13th game tonight on the road in Ogden, and Freshman Jack Siefken comments on pitching during crucial moments.
The Tigers have already played a bountiful amount of games, getting lots of reps in, especially for the younger less experienced players on the team. ADM’s 2024 team features four seniors, but many younger players on the team are getting good exposure to great competition in and out of conference. One of those is Freshman Jack Siefken, who has a 2-0 record this season pitching. He talks about pitching in crucial times in a game where any runs allowed can prove monumental.
“Definitely hitting spots. Not letting them making descent contact. If they put it in play, have it be weak contact that we can get out on.”
Siefken has looked poised on the mound and Head Coach Jason Book has full confidence in him. ADM will be on the road tonight in Ogden with first pitch set for 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
