Dallas County Engineer Al Miller informs residents of the progress on the Dawson Road Project.

Miller tells Raccoon Valley Radio that work on County Road P46 in Dawson has been temporarily slowed down by the rainy conditions throughout the months of April and May. He gives an update on what the contractor, Elder Corporation, is at in the project.

“Currently the contractor is removing pavement on the section of the road between the Co-Op (Cooperative) in Dawson north to the Dallas and Greene County line. We’re recycling that pavement and getting ready to do the grading work on that project.”

Miller comments that the Secondary Roads Department is targeting the month of August to complete that portion of the project and prepare to pave the roads in late summer.
