Thirty-three boys and 11 girls earned Greene County High School track & field letters. The only senior to letter on the girls’ team was Kaylee Statder. Six seniors were among the boys who lettered. They were Nathan Behne, Jack Hansen, Eli Mohr, Trey Schilling, Jace Wilson, and Bill Wright.
The Rams had three events for girls and five for boys qualify for the Coed State Track & Field Meet. The highest finish for Greene County came from junior discus thrower Isaac Carman, who placed tenth in Class 2A.
Derek Merk is the girls’ head coach and Chad Morton is the head coach of the boys’ program.
Girls who lettered are senior Kaylee Stalder, juniors Emma Ewalt ,Payton Kokenge, Daniele Madsen, Hailey Carman, and Sadie Shannon. Sophomores lettering were Addison Gannon, Kaycee Pittman, Evelyn Snyder, Lila Osterson, and Savannah Lansman. Ella Lawrence-Mohr was the manager.
In addition to the seniors who lettered on the boys’ teams, juniors lettering were Carman, Gabe Block, Crew Conner, Lane Fields, Patrick Graham, Noah Hinote, Camden Jacobs, Kamden Kinne, Kaiden Burbank, Nick Stream, and Gavyn Winters. Lettering as sophomores were Broc Stream, Drew Wolterman, Aden Bardole, Chris Daugherty, Isaac Karber, Jaden Koller, Nick Madsen, and Rafe Michaelsen, Freshmen lettering were Moses Brown, Roman Sebourn, Zack Stalder, Brady Carstensen, Mason Haley, Brennan Jacobs, Jaron Jacobs, and Degan Miller.
