With the Jefferson Municipal Pool open, free swimming lessons are happening soon.

There are four opportunities for youth to learn to swim for free. The first set of lessons is June 24th-28th from 10:30-11:15am with ten spots available for the four levels of swimmers and those are sponsored by Jefferson Family Dentistry. The next free lessons are sponsored by Greene County Medical Center and will be July 8th-12th with level one and three from 9:30-10:15am and level two and four from 10:30-11:15am and there is a maximum of 12 swimmers for each level.

Home State Bank will sponsor free lessons from July 15th-19th with level one and three from 9:30-10:15am and level two and four from 10:30-11:15am. The one additional caveat is that participants must be able to touch the three foot depth unassisted. Finally, Journey Financial is sponsoring free evening lessons from July 29th-August 2nd from 5:30-6:15pm for all levels, with a maximum of ten participants per level. These lessons require a swim level on the registration.
