The Perry soccer season came to a close yesterday as they where defeated by Assumption Davenport, 1-0.  The Bluejays had a tremendous season which ended in the 2A State Semifinals.  It was a defensive and possession based first half as they played to a 0-0 draw.  Both teams would continue to play the field possession game in the second half.  The game appeared it would go to extra time, a second time this State Tournament for Perry, until in the 76th minute Frink would score the game winner for the Knights.

The final record for the Bluejays is 12-6.  Assumption moves to the title game today at 1P against Bishop Heelan.
