Due to the damages from the severe weather, Wednesday’s match up between the Panorama Panther softball team and the IKM-Manning Wolves was scheduled to be hosted by the Wolves but was relocated to Panorama. Still playing as the away team, the Panthers scored a run in the top of the first and second. However, the Wolves set the tempo for the match early, scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the second. With the score now at 2-7 in the Wolves favor, the Panthers continued to chip away at the lead, scoring 1 run in the top of the third. The Wolves responded however, scoring 2 more runs in the bottom of the third. This set a fire for the Panthers, as they would score 8 runs in the top of the fourth, 2 more in the fifth, and 4 more in the sixth asserting their dominance onto the Wolves. The Wolves responded but their efforts were not enough, as they scored their final run in the bottom of the fifth.
The Panthers now focus on their next opponent, the ACGC Chargers as they host the Chargers on Monday.
