The Perry Public Library is officially kicking off summer today with their annual KidsFest.
The event is happening today from 10:30am-1:30pm at the library. According to Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper, KidsFest will feature a foam blaster, balloon twister, family photos, dunk tank, a Giant Connect Four game, as well as a petting zoo.
Pieper explains that the event benefits the Perry Volunteer Fire Department with one dollar meals being served. She comments on the food choices being a hotdog or a pork loin, a bag of chips, a cookie, and a water. The event is free and open to the public.
