Perry’s Superintendent gives an overview of Perry High School’s recovery plan after the January 4th shooting.

Superintendent Clarks Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Dr. Mandy Ross, who recently retired as Webster City’s Superintendent, was brought on following the tragedy as a support administrator. He notes that her position will shift to a Recovery Coordinator as she’ll navigate next steps for the healing process.

“She will be working on our recovery plan, which includes a lot of things like safety, security, and mental health.”

Wicks notes that Ross and him have been given lessons learned from people globally in order to build the best recovery plan to help the students, staff, and community of Perry.
