Details regarding an Administrative Clerk position will be revealed during tonight’s Perry City Council meeting.

The council will hear a resolution to approve the job description and pay range for the administration clerk position for the City of Perry. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include pay applications for the Frog Creek Restoration and the Iowa Street Stormwater Wetland projects, resolution to adopt the state of Iowa’s Community Development Block Grant Procurement Policies and procedures, plus a resolution to approve an amendment to the local Planning and Administrative Assistance Contract with Region 12.

Additional items up for approval pertain to an amendment request letter to the Iowa Economic Development Authority for the Downtown Housing Grant Agreement and authorization to J&M Displays Incorporated for a fireworks permit. Also apart of the meeting will be several ordinances for zoning regulations, planned unit development district, and special assessments for streets. The meeting will happen tonight at 6pm at the Towncraft Building, 1122 Willis Avenue, in Perry. Raccoon Valley Radio will have a recap of the meeting later this week.
