The Perry Chamber of Commerce has an annual summer event coming up on Friday.

The Chamber’s Friday Fest is taking place this week on June 7th at Pattee Park. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the band Suede will be performing live music from 6-9pm. She notes that the Perry Fire Department will be grilling and brownie sundae desserts will be served. Pasutti encourages people to bring their own baskets for picnics.

“Ultimately, it’s a bring your own basket type of event, so you can have adult beverages, just no glass at the park, but pack a picnic, pack a basket, or your cooler.”

Pasutti reveals there will be kids activities as well including face painting, mini golf, and invites people to bring yard games, chairs, and blankets. The event is free and open to the public.
