Things are starting to look a bit different at Panorama Community Schools.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the north parking lot project was awarded in a previous school board meeting, and the contractor has begun the work. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the district is excited to get this project started.
“So pretty much all parking will now be concreted, and I think it’s a long time coming. It sounds like it was a project that was due to be done quite a while ago, but just never got to this point. So we’re getting there. We’re getting it paved, and they got started June 3rd.”
Huebner mentions that this will include the gravel lot between the school and the bus barn, and swings around and up to the football field. He adds that once the project is done, it will add several more parking spaces. Huebner says that at the moment, August 16th should be the completion date.
