Dallas County Engineer Al Miller discusses the road work that is currently being done in the City of Adel.

Miller tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Adel recently shut down the north side of the bridge on County Road F51 for a replacement with the hope of reopening before the holiday season. He mentions that the Secondary Roads Department is preparing for future projects in the city by combining two of the organization’s offices.

“Our engineer’s office is going to be moving from our current location on River Street in Adel out to our central maintenance facility with some new construction there remodeling our current facility and moving all of our staff to that one location.”

Miller reminds motorists to obey the detour signs that are laid with all the construction in Adel.
