Things may look different in the parking lot for the West Central Valley High School Athletic Complex.
Activities Director Jim Lindsay says that the district has decided to finish paving all of their parking lots at the high school, instead of having some of them as gravel, and construction began in the last days of May. He mentions that they have broken the work up into three sections, and are currently working on the eastern half of the athletic complex’s lot by the football field.
Lindsay continues that once that section has been finished, work will move up by the high school building and bus barn to pave the parking lot there, and that once baseball and softball begin to wind down, they’ll begin work on the western part of the athletic complex parking lot. He adds that everything should be finished before the school year starts in August, but that at the moment parking may be limited in the athletic complex lot, although there is plenty of parking available by the high school building.
