Dallas Center – Grimes softball was looking for their 9th and 10th straight wins on Wednesday night when they took on the Indians of Oskaloosa. DCG was able to take care of their business quickly and find two wins to get to the double figure winning streak with a 10-0 win in six innings in game 1 and then in three innings in game 2 with a 13-1 win.

The Mustangs were able to move to 15-3 on the season.

DCG was able to use long rallies in both of their games, as they were able to put up some crooked numbers against the Oskaloosa staff. The win keeps the Mustangs at the top of the conference standings, and they will be aiming to keep things that way in the coming games.

The Mustangs will have more games later on this week, as they look to continue to play at a torrid pace in the month of June.
