Dallas Center – Grimes baseball and softball both had games yesterday against the Pella Dutch, and both were able to find victories with baseball winning a competitive game 1-0 and softball cleaning up in a 10-0 victory. Baseball moves to 23-1 on the year while softball improves to 19-3.

The baseball game was a pitchers dual with Taitn Gray providing the only run of the night with a home run. The softball team was able to break their game open in the 4th inning as they were able to score six runs in the process, putting together a strong showing overall.

DCG softball returns to action tonight when they take on Norwalk while baseball will also play Norwalk but that will be tomorrow night. First pitch for both games will be at 5:30.
