Jayettes fall for their eighth straight game as Saydel picks up the win in Perry. Saydel got some revenge last night as they beat Perry in softball, 7-0. The Jayettes won in Des Moines earlier this season 3-0, but fell last night. The offense had another rough night with two team hits. During this losing streak, Perry is averaging less than two runs a game. The Eagles hit Tunink well and she didn’t do herself any favors issuing 5 free passes. Her final line was 6 runs, 8 hits, and 1 strikeout over 5 innings.
Perry is now 5-15 with a record of 5-7 in the Heart of Iowa Conference. They jump out of conference play for their next game on Friday. Madrid will be in town for a 7P first pitch.
