Tomorrow is the Beach Ball Fundraiser hosted by the Friends of Lake Panorama.

Executive Director Susan Thompson says that the event supports major projects that the organization is helping with, and that this year it’s to help with the Lake Panorama National Golf Course Master Plan Priority One, which is revamping the golfing area. She also tells Raccoon Valley Radio what the organization is all about.

“Friends of Lake Panorama is a 501 nonprofit charity. We were formed, ten years ago actually. This is our 10th anniversary during 2024. And we raise money for specific projects to improve amenities at Lake Panorama and at the golf courses that are owned by the Lake Panorama Association.”

Thompson mentions that attendance for the event is capped at 225 people with a meal, silent auction and a 50/50 raffle included in the fundraiser.
