
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team gets two runs to be the difference for 18th win versus Raccoon River Conference foe Ballard on Thursday, 2-1.
The Tigers played the Bombers in Adel Thursday and scored one run in the fourth and fifth innings to lead 2-0 before Ballard tried to rally late with one in the top of the seventh. ADM’s starting pitcher Lauren Hagedorn went seven innings and completed five strikeouts. Senior Kaylee Smith had one hit, one RBI, with one home run in the game to lift the Tigers to their 18th win.
With the win, ADM improves to 18-8 overall (9-2 inside the Raccoon River Conference) and will be back in Adel tonight to host Knoxville. Raccoon Valley Radio will broadcast the game on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 7pm with a 7:15pm first pitch.
