The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The Council will hear from Bryan Helmus on sculptures at the animal shelter. Then, the Council will consider for approval a resolution for a development agreement for the upper story housing project at 100 East State Street, a forgivable loan for Jennifer Badger for 106 East State Street, and accepting the 2023 fiscal year audit report. Additionally, the Council will consider approving a resolution for the final schedule of assessments and nuisance abatements in the city, terminating the old 28E agreement with Greene County for the animal shelter, a resolution to keep livestock at 1217 West Wall Street, a 28E agreement with Greene County to share an administrative assistant for the law enforcement center, and a resolution for an amendment to the employment agreement with the city administrator. The Council will also consider approving a conditional hire for a new patrol officer, purchasing a mass texting service.
