The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

There is one item on the agenda and it is about a tabled issue regarding a dog that is owned by Robert Gilmore and Nicole Townsley at 611 West Adams Street that was deemed illegal. This same issue was presented to the Council from a requested hearing at the June 11th meeting. Following the hearing, the Council voted two to two to change the status from illegal to vicious, which would allow the dog to remain with the owners under certain requirements within the city’s ordinance. Council member Darren Jackson was absent from the meeting and so the Council chose to table the final decision to when the full council would be present.
