The West Central Valley Wildcat softball season comes to an end after an emotional roller-coaster of a game that went until the bottom of the eighth inning resulting in a 4-3 victory for the ACGC Chargers. Both teams would score in the top of the first, but the action would remain quiet until the sixth inning where West Central Valley would begin to gain momentum.

Anna Brynes would get the action going for West Central Valley with a two run RBI to take a lead in the top of the sixth with Speichinger scoring to help the Wildcats claim a 3-1 lead. The pressure and errors would begin to mount on the Wildcats, as ACGC would rally in the bottom of the seventh to score two runs to tie the game at 3-3. Unfortunately errors would be the end of the West Central Valley softball team, as in the bottom of the eight inning two errors and an over throw would allow the Chargers to score, putting the nail in the coffin for the Wildcat softball post season dreams 4-3.
