The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team finished the regular season on Tuesday after defeating Norwalk to tally 15 wins on the 2024 year.
The Tigers conclude the season with a 15-14 overall record (9-7 inside the Raccoon River Conference) which is third behind Bondurant-Farrar and North Polk. ADM’s Catcher Jason Book says that no matter who is on the mound for the Tigers, he has full confidence in all the pitchers.
“We got a lot of trust in each other. I know all of these guys really well and what they like to go to, so it just makes it a whole lot easier for both of us when they’re on the mound, and a lot of fun.”
Book demonstrates that he’ll need to stay the course in anticipation for postseason.
“Situationally just doing my job. That’s what going to help us win in the postseason. Not trying to do too much and just staying within myself.”
ADM will travel to Ballard High School tomorrow to battle a Raccoon River Conference opponent for the Class 3A Substate 2 First Round game at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6:45pm.
