Two players and the head coach from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team are being recognized for qualifying for all district.

The Tigers’ Sophomore Lauren Hagedorn and Senior Cameran Smith have been selected to represent on the Class 4A Southwest District team. They join several players from Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Boone, Carlisle, Creston, Gilbert, Glenwood, North Polk, and Winterset.

In addition, ADM’s Head Coach Lindsay Stanford was also named the 4A Southwest District Coach of the Year. Stanford has lead this Tigers’ team to a 29-9 overall record (13-3 inside the Raccoon River Conference; second place) and recently the Class 4A Region 4 Champs.

ADM is gearing up to battle Fort Dodge at Iowa Central Field, in Fort Dodge, on Monday at 5:15pm to begin the state tournament. The game will be broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5pm.
