The Panora City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The Council will consider for approval the second reading of an ordinance adding a chapter on portable storage containers to City Code, a resolution allowing possession and consumption of alcohol in designated areas for events during Panorama Days and a request to utilize a hydrant or firetruck to fill a dunk tank at Michael Mills Park during Panorama Days. They will also discuss the city being the fiscal agent for the Panora Chamber’s Main Street audio project, merit increases for two city employees, the 2024 Southeast Load Transfer Electric project and an emergency medical services first responder transport agreement.

The Council will then consider for approval a policy regarding electronic access and rental rates for the Community Center and Veteran’s Auditorium, the first reading of an ordinance regarding fishing/jumping off bridges and the seventh change order for the Jackson Street Improvement projects for $2,694.
