At last week’s Republican Party National Convention, former President Donald Trump accepted the formal nomination to be the party’s presidential candidate and his vice president running mate was announced.

US Senator JD Vance from Ohio will be on the Republican Party ticket as the vice presidential candidate and US Senator Chuck Grassley says while he doesn’t serve on any committees that Vance is a part of, Grassley feels Vance is a great choice to run with Trump.

“Every experience I’ve had with him has been positive. You know he’s very talented. He’s probably more talented than (current) Vice President (Kamala) Harris to a great degree. He brings a military background to the ticket. And I just think he really strengthens the ticket to a great deal.”       

The Republican National Convention was held from July 15th-18th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sources say the Democratic Party National Convention will be held from August 19th-22nd in Chicago, Illinois.
