Today for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, Raccoon Valley Radio will focus on Junior Reed Ausdemore.

Ausdemore was one of the consistent pitchers for the Tigers this season. He started seven games on the mound finishing with a 2-4 record, had 38 strikeouts, walked 14 batters in 39.2 innings pitched. Offensively for ADM, Ausdemore played in 31 games with 101 at-bats, scored 14 runs off of 25 hits, got 20 singles, five doubles, and 10 RBIs.

Ausdemore came in at crucial moments during the season to relieve other pitchers for the Tigers and held his own starting as well. Despite ADM’s Baseball season ending this past week, Ausdemore will be returning in 2025 for his senior year to hopefully take the Tigers to the state tournament.

ADM finished the 2024 season with a 16-15 overall record (9-7 inside the Raccoon River Conference) losing to North Polk in the Class 3A Substate 2 Second Round game on July 16th.
