
Greene County went 43-51 attempting to steal bases during the recently completed 2-20 varsity baseball season. Coach Kyle Stalder’s team was led in both steals and attempts by junior Camden Jacobs, going 12 of 13 on the base paths. Junior Lane Fields was eight for nine stealing bases and junior Crew Conner was five of six. Junior Noah Hinote was four for four on the base paths and freshman Jaron Jacobs was four for five. Junior Gavyn Winters was successful four times in six tries.
The walk to strikeout ratio for the season was 56 walks and 159 strikeouts. The Rams also were hit with pitches 18 times. Only two players reached doubles figures in walks with 13 for Camden Jacobs and 12 for Hinote.
