The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Monday in regular session.

The Board tabled its decision on the renewal of the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) for the 2025 fiscal year. The total insurance package for property, crime, boiler and machinery and auto was $359,404. This would be an increase of $85,517 from the 2024 fiscal year. The Board tabled a final decision, pending updated figures on trying to decrease the premiums by increasing the deductibles on contents and buildings. 

The Board approved the annual county report for the substance abuse prevention grant from New Opportunities, and the County Treasurer’s semi-annual report and the quarterly investment report as presented.
