
With the summer sports season over, we take a look at individual statistics for AC/GC baseball and softball players.
For the baseball team, sophomore Tommy Skram started in all 25 of the team’s games, recording 77 at bats, 16 runs and 21 hits, of which 17 were singles and four were doubles. He also had seven RBI’s , 25 total bases, a batting average of .273, on base percentage of .371 and slugging percentage of .325. He also attempted to steal bases 14 times, and was successful on 13 of those attempts.
Skram also tallied six assists, 34 putouts and a fielding percentage of .909. He started three of the six games he made it to the mound, for 13.2 innings pitched against 66 opposing batters on 381 pitches.
For the softball team, junior Paige Van Meter started in all 25 of the team’s games, recording 57 at bats, nine runs and nine hits, of which seven were singles, one was a triple and one was a homerun. She also had six RBI’s , 14 total bases, a batting average of .158, on base percentage of .304 and slugging percentage of .246. She also attempted to steal one base, and was successful, and tallied two assists, 32 putouts and a fielding percentage of .895.
